Birria tacos

Trader Joe's cookbook
Servings: 12 tacos
Ingredients
- 1 package Trader Joe's Birria Steak
- 12 corn tortillas
- 1 white onion, diced
- 1 bunch of fresh cilantro, washed and chopped
- 1 bag shredded mozzarella
Instructions
- Heat up Birria in a pot. Heat a cast iron pan.
- Take a tortilla and dip it in the Birria, coating both sides with the sauce, then place in the cast iron pan. Use a spoon or tongs to grab some meat and place it on the tortilla, then top with white onion, some cilantro, and mozzarella. Fold the taco over.
- Let cook for a minute or two, then flip to the other side and continue cooking.
- Serve with extra cilantro, and dip in more Birria sauce if desired.

- Made this in Hyde Park; very tasty! 3 tacos seems like a decent serving size for me.
