Ingredients

• 4 spritzes Herbsaint
• 2 oz Sazerac rye
• 1/4 oz Demara syrup
• 23 drops Peychaud's bitters
• Lemon peel, for garnish

Instructions

1. Spritz the Herbsaint into the interior of a chilled double old-fashioned glass
2. Combine the rye, Demara, and bitters in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir to chill
3. Strain into the glass
4. Garnish with lemon peel and serve
