Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Sainte Louise brandy
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- Sparkling wine, to top (see note)
- Lemon peel, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine brandy, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and short-shake (about 10 shakes) so as not to overdilute. Double-strain into a cocktail glass and top with sparkling wine. Express and mount the lemon peel and serve.
Note: if feeling fancy, use AOC Champagne or cremant. Can also use cava or prosecco. Generally, don't want something too sweet.
